A and D or the arrow keys move, space or the up arrow jumps, J is your melee attack, K throws darts and L dodges. Five inputs is a lot for this kind of game, and each one answers a different threat.
Gliding and darts handle what you cannot safely reach, while the sword is for anything that closes in. Powerful bosses across the four different worlds are where using only one of these stops working, so practise switching between them before Dracula rather than during.
